3 D GECKO PUZZLE

This puzzle pattern is copyrighted by Len Wardle www.members.cox.net/lvpuzzle  The main feature of this piece is that once it is put together, it can be picked up and moved in every conceivable way, without fear of it falling apart, as every piece is interlocking.
The key to taking the puzzle apart is in the eye - a dowel piece that when removed allows the puzzle to be disassembled.  The legs are also mounted on push through dowels.  The body parts are made of maple, as well as the four legs.
The overall dimensions of the Lizard are 15 3/4" Long by 4 1/2" Wide at the front feet, by approximately 1 1/2" Thick at the mid section.
The original rendering of this puzzle was given to my father, David Crosby, as a Christmas Gift a couple years ago.

A Second Rendering (shown above) was a commission piece complete recently and forwarded to the customer.  Click this Link for more views of this particular Piece.
