OSPREY IN FLIGHT
WITH FISH IN TALONS
This is yet another highly detailed pattern from a
collection copyrighted by Jacob and Wayne Fowler.
The wood used for the bird is some highly
colored/grained Apple Wood. The wood type used for the backing for this
piece is Russian Olive.
The overall dimensions for this work is 8 1/2"
high by 14 1/4"wide, with the bird itself being roughly 7 1/2" high by 13
1/4" wide. The wood for the bird section
is 3/8" think, while the backing is 1/4" think. This is a wall
mounted piece with hanger attached to the back.
The finished piece was given to Daniel Crosby as a
Christmas Gift in 2006 by his brother the artist...
