The piece has a finished size of somewhat over 9" high by 11" overall.
In this particular work there are actually three wood
layers involved: 1. The design in front done in Figured Maple, 2. A middle
spacer around the outer ring to give it depth of field, done in Pin, and 3.
Finally the backing done in Black Walnut.
This piece was a Commissioned piece now owned by Pastor
Ken Taylor, of Stockbridge, GA.
