STYLIZED CROSSES
ON FRETWORK BACKINGS
This Christian theme pattern is
copyrighted by Dick Boelman. The pieces as shown above have finished sizes
of 11" High by 5 3/4" Wide overall. In the photo, Cross on the
left was made from 3/8" Black Walnut while the Fretwork Backing was made
from 1/4" Apple Wood with interesting color variations. The Cross on
the right was made from 3/8" Purple Heart, and the Fretwork Backing was
made from 1/4" thick Magnolia Wood.
The Stylized Cross made from Black Walnut/Apple Wood
was a Commissioned Piece created as a Wedding Gift for a young minister and his
wife, Joshua & Jennifer Franks, who now live in Ohio.
The Purple
