ARABIAN NIGHTS      The pattern for this guy is copyrighted by Shelly & Kerry, owners of the web site www.skwoodworks.com        The piece has an overall finished sized of 10 1/2" high by 13" wide.  The inner scrollwork's dimensions are given as 8 1/2" high by 11" wide, and is executed in Figured Maple.  The inch wide framework is done in Linear Grained Red-Striped Wood.  Note that the corner joints of the framework are puzzle shaped for added interest.  The background wood is Pine stained with liquid black shoe polish.      The work was a Commissioned Piece created for Robin Egeland of Randle, WA.
